A Programme for Professional Effective ness for Administrative and Supporting Staff

IQAC of MCET has organized a programme for Professional Effectiveness for Administrative and supporting staff. The resource person having the rich experience of working as a Principal of two reputed engineering colleges conducted this programme, 

The speaker explained the role of both the administrative staff and supporting staff at various

             levels. They play a vital role in the smooth functioning of the college. As they have to deal with both the faculty and students must involve in the works assigned to them whole heartedly and by adhering to the   norms prescribed. He also opined that they must be thorough with all the rules and regulations and guide the students effectively in all academic and administrative matters. He further highlighted the role of administrative staff in helping the administrative head of the institution  in all the matters pertaining to the regulatory authorities like AICTE, State Government and the affiliating University. At the end he said that the non teaching staff along with faculty play an important role in offering quality education to the students. About 40 administrative and supporting staff have attended.
