Students Empowerment Programme on Perceptual Orientation for career Success

As todayâ€™s era is dominated by careers without boundaries the engineering students are in a dilemma to choose their career paths. Majority of the engineering students irrespective of their branch of study are aspiring for careers in software companies. However students from core engineering branches like Mechanical and Civil are finding it difficult to get placed in software companies. In order to help the student community to know all about career paths and the credentials required for different careers, IQAC has organized an awareness programme targeting the outgoing Batch. My3 Educational academy with which the institution has an MOU organized an empowerment programme to let the students know how to choose their career paths and also to know the pre requisites that can help them in achieving their career path. The academy also offered training programme on various skills that are required in addition to the domain knowledge to enhance their employment potential. One interactive session is also organized with the persons from core industries as part of the awareness programme. More that hundred students have attended and as per the feedback received all the sessions were helpful.
