'Methodist College of Engineering & Technology' As the name would suggest it is quite METHODIST when it comes to education in a professional course. Though the college is only a year old it has proved to be first among equals!!
As a student from Mumbai, initially I was a bit uncertain about studying in Hyderabad my parents & I had zero Edison a couple of colleges in Hyderabad but had chosen MCET as it is affiliated to O.U. I took admission without any hesitation.
The staff at METHODIST is PAR EXCELLENCE. The ambience is student friendly, serene & calm with Dr.Uma Maheshwara Reddy's rock-solid support not only as Principal, but also as a caring father has ushered in a significant change in the lives of many students including me who are in a constant need of advice and motivation to propel in the right direction in the future. My decision to take admission in METHODIST has proved to be my best decision till date. This college has given me wings for a very long flight for which. I am very Grateful.

Over the last one year Methodist College of Engineering & Technology has made many advances by helping the students get the most out of their educational investment. The College's on going improvements are aimed at a positive student experience and has ensured that the learning experience is versatile. I must appreciate the faculty and the Management's commitment in building an exceptional learning campus in the heart of the city. In my view, below are the five key factors that are driving our college to new heights and differentiating from others.
- Vision: Empowering the youth for a fruitful future with holistic education.
- Teaching Faculty: All our teachers are well qualified and they adapt the interactive way of teaching.
- Library: We have a very well equipped library having more than 6,000 volumes that helps the students clarify their doubts, provide additional information and develop academic excellence.
- Lab Facilities: We have very good lab facilities with sophisticated instruments.
- Personality improvement programs: Special lectures by industrial experts, cultural programs like Fresher's Day proved to be additional assets for the college.
So every student is over whelmed with the college's initiatives.

I am very proud to say that I am a student at Methodist College of Engineering & Technology. Here I have experienced a new life a professional life. I have developed a professional attitude, new friends who are from other states from whom I have learnt new languages like Tamil, etc.. When coming to studies, we have highly experienced and qualified professors, who are very friendly. The teaching here is more practical and interactive than theoretical.
Our Principal Dr.Uma Maheshwara Reddy is more like a father who tries to motivate the students he's the driving force behind the college's reputation. When coming to sports, we have a huge play ground where in we can have a variety of sports activity. Our campus is eco-friendly with number of trees, which provide a serene & tranquil atmosphere.
At last, I would like to conclude by saying that Methodist is a family.

I am Sahabzada Akbar Jah Mohammad Tarique Ali Mirza of OUDH, Hailing from the Royal Family of Oudh. I joined MCET ie Methodist College of Engineering & Technology, in August. The days spent in Methodist are without doubt the Best Days of My life. Last 7 months I have developed as a good scholar, and an even better person, which is what I always wanted to be. The credit for this tremendous change in me goes to the Respected Director and Faculty Members of Methodist. They have supported me a lot in improving myself. Talking about my progress as a student, it has been way above my expectations. From being a Below Average student with a score of 37-45% in schooling, I became one of the Toppers of the college with above 90%. I owe it to my Teachers and Director sir, because without their support, it wouldn't have been possible. My progress has not only been in Academics, I have developed great communication skills, am much more confident now, and as a matter of fact, I was the 1st runner up in Ramp walk @ Freshers Day. In short, this is a dream come true for me, and I mean it.
