The students' newsletter of MECT aims to have a common platform for students of various branches to come together to unlearn and unravel the talent for highly successful accomplishments in students.

At Methodist, the teaching-learning process is holistic, i.e., to bring about an overall development of the students to mould them into global citizens. To strive to achieve the desired goal, News letter is one of the initiatives taken up. This is an opportunity for the students to create a niche for themselves by acquiring various skills such as team building, creativity, problem-solving, diplomacy, flexibility which will go a long way.

The students' Newsletter gives an opportunity for the students to come forward and showcase their innate talents in writing, editing, designing, sketching or any other creative form of activity. It also chronicles various events that take place in the college whether academics, sports, listening or cultural activities.

The students' Newsletter, to start with, is proposed to be a quarterly publication that includes articles, creative pieces of writing, book reviews, quotations, puzzles, sketches, interviews that may offer significant insights.

This is initiated with the specific objective to

  • Provide opportunities for students to exchange experience with their peer group and to learn from each other.
  • Create the culture of learning and self-improvement.
  • Provide opportunities to widen their knowledge and pursue research studies.
  • Provide a forum to exercise their skills.
  • Keep themselves abreast of the latest knowledge and perspectives in various fields.
