Principal

Dr. Sreerangam Venkateshwar is a retired Professor in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University. He has a rich teaching and research experience of 35 years. He also served as the Principal, University College of Technology, Osmania University. He has also worked in various capacities as the Director, Centre for Biotechnology, O.U., Director, Department of Publications and Press, O.U., and Dean, Faculty of Technology, O.U. He has published 42 papers in technical journals, 4 articles and presented more than 70 papers at various Seminars conducted at National and International levels, and guided 8 Ph.D. students leading to Doctoral Degree and 42 M.Tech students in their research programme. He was the recipient of the 'Best Teacher Awardee' of Govt of A.P from Osmania University in the year 2008.

He is on the Executive Committee of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, Hyderabad Regional Centre since 1980 and also was the President of IIChE in 2006. He worked as Organizing Secretary for Indian Chemical Engineering Congress-2002 (CHEMCON - 2002), which was held during 19-22 December 2002. He is on the Governing Body, Selection Committees and member Board of Studies of some of the constituent and affiliated Colleges of Osmania University and J.N.T.U. He is the reviewer of Journals such as Indian Chemical Engineer, Institute of Engineers, International Journal of Chemical reaction Engineering etc. He is member of many Professional bodies like Life Fellow of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers and Life Fellow of A.P. Academy of Sciences. He has visited many countries as a part of his professional assignments.
